Who can use the Study Hub?

The Melton Study Hub is free and available to all university and other tertiary students. We especially welcome students studying online or commuting from Melton and surrounding areas.

What do we offer?

Study spaces

Quiet, well-equipped areas to focus and connect

One-on-one support

Academic help, writing skills, assignment guidance, and course advice

Admin support

Navigating enrolments, HECS-HELP, census dates, and university systems

Wellbeing & careers

Guidance on student services and career pathway advice

Tech access

Computers, high-speed internet, video conferencing and free printing (limits apply)

Community & connection

A friendly place to meet other local students and feel supported

Code of Conduct

The Melton Suburban University Study Hub is a shared, inclusive space designed to support your learning journey. To keep it safe, welcoming, and productive for all users, we ask that you:

  • Respect others – No bullying, harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour.
  • Use spaces responsibly – Book only what you need, attend your sessions, and leave areas clean.
  • Be mindful of noise – Use headphones and keep group room doors closed.
  • Use technology appropriately – No offensive, harmful, or illegal online activity.
  • Supervise children at all times – Only with prior approval and not when unwell.
  • Stay safe and follow instructions – No smoking, vaping, alcohol, drugs, or dangerous items

By using the Melton Suburban University Study Hub, you agree to follow this Code. Breaches may result in warnings, suspension, or removal.
