On Tuesday 16 May Djerriwarrh began our first ever course at the Woodlea Estate in Rockbank.
We are expanding from our established locations of Melton, Sunshine and Sunbury to Woodlea’s new Smart Learning Hub, which located in the Woodlea Display Village. The Smart Learning Hub is a dedicated learning space which includes leading edge technology such as an interactive screen and laptops to support modern learning.
Djerriwarrh’s first course at Woodlea will be the Certificate III in Education Support. This course gives participants the skills to work as Teachers’ Aides in a range of classroom contexts.
Djerriwarrh and Woodlea jointly hosted a Welcome Breakfast on our first day of classes. This was to both welcome our new students at our new venue, and celebrate our new partnership with Woodlea.
We are excited to be expanding to offer courses at Woodlea. We have been in Melton for over 25 years and are looking forward to reaching out to new communities. We are planning to offer a range of different courses at Woodlea in the future.
