The SFYS Coordinator is responsible for delivering the SFYS program by working with schools directly within Melton (Government, Catholic and Independent) to deliver targeted interventions for students (grade 5 –year 12) who are vulnerable to, or showing signs of, disengaging from their education due to chronic school absenteeism.

There is also a focus on building the capacity of schools and capacity of parents to better support those students, and to help those students remain actively engaged in their learning and successfully complete their education.
