Djerriwarrh PSA student’s achieved traineeships with Western Health!

Our graduates are underway!

Djerriwarrh’s July 2018,  graduates successfully completed their Certificate II in Community Services. It’s been a great journey for our 7 students who have now gone on to complete various pathways. Four graduates completed their course and were successful in their interview and gained positions in Western Health’s Health Services Assistant Traineeship program. This is a great outcome for our graduates as they learned many aspects of the role of a Heath Services Assistant. Preparation for Health Services Assistance (Certificate II in Community Services) CHC22015

Have you considered a career in the health sector?

This course has been developed in partnership with Western Health as preparation for the role of Health Services Assistance.

The course will introduce you to aspects of the role of a Health Services Assistant and includes a five day work placement at one of Western Health’s campuses located in Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown.

 

Many past participants who have successfully completed the course and gained a traineeship with Western Health have applied for on-going casual, part-time or full-time work across the three campuses.

Alternatively, this qualification may be used as a pathway qualification into a range of community services work.
