On Thursday 8 September Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services received a Learn Local Legend Award as part of the 2016 Victorian Learn Local Awards. These awards cover Learn Locals throughout Victoria.
Nominated by the Adult Community and Further Education (ACFE) North Western Metropolitan Regional Council, the nomination recognises the outstanding contribution made by Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services to our learners and our community.
Members of our Board, our CEO Trish Heffernan and key staff involved in the delivery of the Adult Community and Further Education program attended the awards ceremony held at Collingwood Town Hall.
Djerriwarrh CEO, Trish Heffernan, stated, “Being selected as a Learn Local Legend is a fantastic acknowledgement of Djerriwarrh’s dedication and commitment to providing engaging and relevant learning opportunities that provide pathways to further education or employment”.
